Has anyone owned a Probe. We currently purchased this car for winter. I was looking for some feedback about your thoughts. It seems to be in good condition and seems to run well. All comments welcome.
Also are there anything we should need to look for??? Were the obstacles easy fixes or big troubles??|||owned a 89 for 4 years great car(mine rusted out)problems exhaust pipes are expensive, air intake tubes between filter and engine can crack causing stalling and idle probs. motor mounts get soft due to oil leaks on highwer mi. engines.
if you have an auto tranny. the manual shift button and 2nd gear starts give great traction in slippery weather.
get a battery powered clock or an aftermarket stereo w/clock no fixing yours.|||If you mean Ford Probe then theres not much to say other than expect Ford build problems, do a search for reviews or owners club and they might be able to give you more info.
If you can't see the clock check the fuses, if not the bulb has probably gone which might mean taking dashboard out.
