How do you get to the crank positioning sensor in a 1993 Ford Probe GT? I need to replace it|||Depending on which sensor you are having trouble with, will be the answer to this question.
Ford "officially" labels your car as having 2 crank sensors. One of them, which normally would be considered a camshaft sensor, is located inside of the distributor, and cannot be individually replaced. You must replace the distributor.
The second case, being the actual crank sensor, is located just in front of the timing cover, at the crank pulley. Here's hoping it's this one, it's alot easier job for a novice to handle.
